Privacy Policy

This page explains what information is collected when you visit this site or buy the Woodworkers Pricing & Profit Toolkit, what it's used for, and who I share it with. I've written it in plain language on purpose — no legal padding, just what actually happens.
This site is run by Patrick Nichols, doing business as Nichols Woodworking Co. ("I," "me"). If anything here is unclear, email me: support@nicholswoodworkingco.com.
What I collect, and why
When you buy the toolkit
Checkout happens on Square's own hosted payment page, not on this site. Square collects your email and payment details directly — your card number never touches my server. Square passes me your email and order details so I can fulfill the order, and I use them to email your download link and confirm the sale.
When you use the contact form
The name, email, and message you submit are sent to me through Netlify's form service so I can reply. I don't use them for anything else.
When you browse the site
I use Google Tag Manager to load standard web analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel). These use cookies to track things like page views, which buttons get clicked, and whether a purchase was completed — so I can tell what's working and, when I run ads, measure them. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies if you'd rather opt out; the site works fine either way.
What I don't do
- There's no account, login, or password on this site — nothing to create, nothing to lose.
- I never see or store your card number. That's handled entirely by Square.
- I don't sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
Who else sees your information
I use a small number of outside services to run this business, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:
- Square — processes payment and card details.
- Resend — sends your download link and receipt emails.
- Netlify — hosts the site and handles the contact form.
- Google (Tag Manager / Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) — site analytics and ad measurement, described above.
- My own customer records — I keep a record of your purchase (email, order amount, date) in my own business system, the same way any small shop keeps a sales log.
I don't hand your information to anyone beyond what's listed here.
How long I keep it
Your download link expires after 7 days for security — if you need the file again after that, just email me. Order and payment records are kept for normal bookkeeping and tax purposes, the same as any purchase you'd make from a small business.
Your choices
You can ask me anytime to see what I have on file for you, or to delete it where I'm able to (some records, like completed sales, I'm required to keep for accounting purposes). Email support@nicholswoodworkingco.com and I'll sort it out directly — there's no ticket system, just me.
Children
This site and the toolkit are made for adults running a business. It's not directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what I collect or how I use it changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top. Checking back here is the way to stay current — I won't email you about routine updates to this policy.
